The seminars aim to improve the skills of university staff at all levels of teaching, research and administration.
The International DAAD Academy (iDA) was founded in 2006 as an independent unit within the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). iDA offers workshops, seminars and language courses to German and international university educators and administrators on topics related to the internationalization of higher education.
iDA is an institution which specializes in knowledge transfer. Its seminars and workshops serve as a forum for discussion and exchange which helps promote network-building between the participants.
iDA draws on the experience and knowledge of DAAD colleagues from all around the world. Guest speakers from German and international universities, research institutes and funding agencies also broaden the perspective and perception of higher education issues.
iDA organizes more than 50 in-service training courses a year on topics of higher education, research and university administration.
iDA seminars aim to improve the skills of university staff at all levels of teaching, research and administration. Consequently, its seminars are tailored to different groups within the university, such as vice-chancellors, professors, lecturers, researchers and administrative staff. The work of iDA focuses on the needs of the university faculty and the International Office, as well as those involved in the university’s international marketing efforts.
All marketing-related seminars are coordinated in cooperation with GATE Germany. For an overview of all iDA seminars, please visit www.daad-akademie.de. Or you can download the brochure here
